GDABVI hosted more than 88 people for its Virtual Re-Launch on April 20, 2022. Presenters included Agency staff, Margo Siegel, Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Psychotherapist, who discussed coping with vision loss; Gary Horton, President of Vanward Consulting Services, who spoke on employment readiness and job opportunities for visually impaired individuals; and LaWanda Jackson and Fran Dennis of Molina Healthcare who provided an overview of accessing Medicare and Medicaid. Other topics for the evening covered GDABVI's current and expanded services, upcoming events, a tour of the new web site, volunteer opportunities, and more.
