Our Service Area
Greater Detroit Agency for the Blind and Visually Impaired serves residents in the seven Southeast Michigan counties of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw, Livingston and St. Clair.

How We Provide Services
To begin receiving services from GDABVI, we ask that you complete an Intake Form so that we can assess and provide you with the best services possible. For your convenience and safety, many of our programs are now provided virtually. However, some teaching and therapies are better learned in person. You can view and register for courses or make appointments online or call our office at 313-272-3900 for information and scheduling or to speak with our Community Care Coordinator for assistance.
